個展のお知らせ

The BLIND TOMORROW – Hiroaki Seto SOLO EXHIBITION

11月21日（土）より9日間、STAYFUL LIFE STOREさん @stayful.jp にて、10年ぶりとなる個展を開催いたします。

原画作品に加え、立体作品やぬいぐるみ、過去作品の解説やコミックの日本語訳を収録した作品集なども販売予定です。

The BLIND TOMORROW は、アメコミ、SF、オカルト、ホラー、風刺などの要素を取り入れ、レトロカートゥーンのタッチで描くオリジナルのダークイラストレーションシリーズです。

舞台となるのは、一見するとごく普通でありながら、どこか歪んでしまった現代社会。

テクノロジーやSNS、そして現代を生きる私たちの価値観に形づくられた日常を背景に、その奥に潜む空虚さや欲望、依存、狂気を、架空のキャラクターたちによる寓話的な物語として描いています。

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be holding my first solo exhibition in 10 years at STAYFUL LIFE STORE, starting Saturday, November 21, for nine days.

Alongside original artworks, I’ll be offering a range of items, including three-dimensional pieces, plush toys, and an art book featuring commentary on past works and Japanese translations of my comics.

The BLIND TOMORROW is an original dark illustration series that blends elements of American comics, science fiction, occult, horror, and satire, all brought to life through a retro cartoon aesthetic.

Set in a contemporary society that appears perfectly ordinary at first glance, yet is somehow distorted, the series explores the emptiness, desires, addictions, and madness lurking beneath the surface of everyday life.

Through allegorical stories featuring fictional characters, it reflects on a world shaped by technology, social media, and the values of our present age.
